Glitch

Adam digs out a rarity from 2014.

A notebook comment thread reminded me of the Field Notes "Glitch" edition given away at the 2014 XOXO conference. Field Notes said they wanted to totally screw up the notebook and they did: misprinted cover, warped graph, they even snuck some Helvetica in there.

I filled mine up in 2015 and felt a little crazy while using it. It was so impractical I put off using it at times, but it's a great edition for the joie de farce. Maybe the easter eggs were a precursor to the Field Notes Clandestine edition?

I dug out the notebook this morning and took some photos. The yellow tape on the cover did not come standard. The reward of “good karma” was someone else’s idea in another notebook comment thread years ago.
